Our Mission & Vision
The vision and mission of the Mothers Union/Womens Guild are passionately concerned with strengthening and preserving marriage and Christian family Life. Also, the advancement of the Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life. To support and actualize these vision and mission, the following Objectives were set up globally by the Organization:
To uphold Christs teaching on the nature of marriage and promote its wider understanding
To encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the Church.
To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship, and service.
To promote conditions in society favorable to stable family life and the protection of children.
To help those who family life has met with adversity.
Our Mission
The women Organizations consist of Mothers Union (MU) and Womens Guild (WG). We have Chaplains, officers: Secretary, assistant secretary, enrolling officers, treasurer and auditors as enshrined in our constitution. The President of the MU/WG is Mrs. Oyewola Blessing Oni, the wife of the Lord Bishop of Ondo Diocese. Our Activities/ programmes
Mothers Union yearly conference.
Helpline for orphans and widows.
Helpline for clergywives.
Entrepreneur scheme for ladies/ Girls Guild.
We run a Nursery and Primary School, Joan Day Nursery and Primary School.
We have Education Committee saddled with the oversight functions to run the school.
We have Ladies and Girls Guild managed by the MU/WG.
We have the yearly womens guild conference.
We have the Women organisations magazine: Christ Courier
